MATT-MATT-MATT Stand Selector

This Stand Selector tool is built on a database of over 600 pieces of electronic music gear, and it will help you choose the right stand(s) and accessories for your gear.  We offer 9 desktop synth stands in small, medium and large sizes, with anywhere from 1 to 3 tiers (slots) for gear. Almost all of our stands accept an add-on tier at the top, bringing the total number of possible tiers to 4.
If you intend to use one of our Expansion Shelves to hold small gear on a tier of a stand, then select SynthRISE as the gear manufacturer in the menu below.

Stand Summary

Our stands are designed for adjustability and expandability using Adapt modular components and telescoping tubes which are standard. Adapt Hooks on each stand can be repositioned, reoriented, and even tilted if an optional Adapt Hook Pivot/Security Kit is purchased.  By adding optional extra Adapt Hooks, you can increase the capacity or stability of a stand.
Our stand names indicate the size of gear to be held (S=small, M=medium, L=large) and the number of tiers (1, 2 or 3).
  • Adapt Small 1, Small  2, Small 3:  for small gear such as Roland Compact, Roland Boutique, Waldorf, Volcas, Beatstep, Keystep and much more.  Also great for Euro desktop synths such as Moog (Mother-32, DFAM, Subharmonicon, Labyrinth), and Behringer (Model D, Pro-800, Neutron, Wasp, etc.).
  • Adapt Medium 1, Medium 2, Medium 3: for a huge range of medium-sized gear, such as Elektron , Dreadbox, Make Noise, etc.
  • Adapt Large 1, Adapt Large 2:  for large gear such as the angled-body Elektrons, Roland MC-707, MX-1, TR-8, Jupiter-Xm, any MPC, large desktop synths (Hyrdrasynth, Peak), and keyboards up to 49 keys.

An extra tier can be added to almost every one of our stands.  Choose an Adapt Tier or Adapt Tier WIDE depending on which stand you are using.

In normal situations a single piece of gear is placed on each tier.  But multiple small pieces of gear can be held on a single tier by adding an Expansion Shelf (small, medium or large).  On our large stands, tiers can sometimes be split into two sub-tiers with the addition of a set of Adapt Hooks.
